Eggs-ellent 9 months!

It's Easter Sunday and you have been growing for 36 weeks or 9 months already!  Thank goodness Mommy had a special dress that still fits her for the occasion...not much does these days. 

 You are starting to make Mommy very uncomfortable when I walk, sit, sleep, stand...there's not much I can do that isn't uncomfortable these days!  I love knowing that you're almost here though, and all of these aches and pains are just signs that you are on your way soon.  :o)

I think Ellie is starting to understand that she's going to have a sister very soon.  I can't wait for the two of you to meet!  Thank you for staying put this past week.  Let's see if we can't get another week under our belt.  (Who am I kidding, belts were out of the picture MONTHS ago...but you know what I mean.)  ;o)

Family Fun on St. Patty's Day

It's St. Patrick's Day, and you are 8 1/2 months in the making.  At 34 weeks you're getting the hiccups at least twice a day (often in the middle of the night).  You're pushing on my bladder quite often, as well as my lungs making it hard to breath.  I feel a little foot, knee, hand, or elbow jut out all the time, and if anyone is looking, they can see you very clearly!  If it's not a little limb, then a culi or head is pushing to the surface...you want more room! 

Well, while you're busy growing in there, we're busy having fun family time out here.  We can't wait until you can join in the festivities!  Daddy will swing both of his little girls.

 You've also got Daddy's amazing ability to find your tickle spot to look forward to...and I look forward to hearing you laugh hysterically like your big sister does.  :o)

 And of course, playing with Brother Rockne always brings smiles too.  The feeling of his tail wagging in your face is sure to bring lots of giggles our way, and I can't wait!!

I just know that Ellie will be excited to show you all of the fun things she's learned so far.  Hurry up and get here, but not too fast!  :o)

Almost Complete!

You are 7 weeks away from arrival and your nursery is just about finished.  Daddy helped Mommy choose the Finding Nemo/ocean theme and we've been adding to it little by little.

 Grandma helped Mommy make the perfect valance that is hanging over your window...and if you look closely, you'll see Nemo's friends up there too!

 There are still a glider to come, a few shelves to put on the wall in the corner, and once we see you and decide on a name, we're hoping to have beautiful wooden letters to put up over your crib, just like your sister's.  :o)

 As you can see, we're not the only ones excited to see you...Rockne's peeking in to see if you've arrived yet too.  And Sister comes in to play in your room a lot; I think she's ready for a playmate!

Time is Flying!

Well, Baby Girl, time is flying by with you in there.  I can't believe it's been 8 months already!  Though it seems like it's almost time to meet you, you've still got about 8 more weeks to cook inside.  You're definitely filling up lots of space these days though, I'm not sure how you're going to find room to keep growing for two more months!

You and I experienced our first batch of Braxton Hicks this past week, and I don't think you liked being squeezed like that very much.  You were squirming around like crazy.  You are starting to put pressure on my lungs too...I'm out of breath just walking up the stairs!  That's okay, as long as your safe and healthy, I'll take one for the team!  I love you, Little One, see you in a few short months!
