Three Months Already Gone!

You are lighting up all of our lives.  You even make your sister, Ellie laugh.

You are currently working on your first tooth.  Nothing's broken through yet, but you've got to be close with all of the chewing, drooling, and lip smacking you're doing.  Today your shirt was soaking wet from drool!

It hasn't stopped you from smiling though, thank goodness!  A grin between those chubby cheeks never gets old.

A Couple of Greats

What a special day today was.  We introduced you to your Great Grandpa Messmer this morning.  You two hit it off immediately.

You can see by the look in his eyes that he adores you, little Charlotte.  It may help that your middle name (Josephine) is very close to his (Joseph).  :o)

I think Great Gramps gets a kick out of having two little girls around since he's so used to all of his great grandsons.

We went straight from Great Grandpa Messmer's house to see your Great Nana Piciulo.  This was an extra special visit too; you met the very person you were named after!

She loved holding you, Baby Charlotte.  Great Nana was proud that you two share the same name. 

 Daddy captured a video of the two of you together.  You looked very comfortable in her lap, we thought you were going to fall asleep!

Your First Fourth

You celebrated your first Fourth of July in fashion thanks to your Grandma & Grandpa for the outfit, and your Uncle Luke & Aunt Dayna for the bib!  This is a very special holiday that we love to spend together as a family, and we're so glad you got to experience your first one here in the Adirondacks.

You and all of your cousins were decked out in red, white and blue...so naturally we took advantage of the photo op.  Can you blame us?  You all are adorable!

Nonna and Ga were in heaven surrounded by all of their little cherubs.  :o) 

Even the extended cousins were there to add to the chaos of the day.  As you can see, you blended right in.  All of the talking, laughing and noise didn't even phase you.  I think Ellie has been preparing you for this at home with all of the noise she makes.  :o)  One more "first" to check off the list!
